Peanutbutterlovers.com is published by the Peanut Advisory Board, a non-profit trade association representing peanut farmers in Georgia, Alabama and Florida. These three states grew 60% of the U.S. crop in 2001.

Established in 1980, the Peanut Advisory Board was formed to educate American consumers about the U.S. peanut industry and its products. The Peanut Advisory Board receives funds through a self-assessed checkoff made by southeastern peanut farmers.
